When Approval, Payment, and General Workshop Safety show green checkmarks, your Maker Pass will be activated on your Cal 1 Card in 2 business days.

Verify you are officially enrolled in one of the listed classes.
If you recently enrolled into one of the courses, please wait 1-2 business days for campus to provide Jacobs Hall with your new enrollment information. Using your personal device, check http://status.jacobshall.org.
If you are not officially enrolled or no longer enrolled, you must contact jacobsinstitute@berkeley.edu to have your Maker Pass sign up manually reset. This can only be done once per semester.

We do not process refunds for any reason including dropping a class, no longer needing/wanting a Maker Pass, etc. Maker Passes cannot be transferred or deferred.
We encourage you to use your semester Maker Pass access to train on equipment.
Once you have taken a training, it is valid for the remainder of your time at UC Berkeley. So, the sooner you train, the sooner you can use equipment for future projects.
Your Maker Pass can be used for both class work and personal projects.

The digits on the back of your Cal 1 Card change anytime you are issued a new card.
[[Welcome<-Start over]]Ask Jacobs staff to manually check your card in the door system. There may be a mismatch or problem in the database.

Access the C-Cure door system and check card digits, clearances, and card expiration date.
Important: Only copy and paste what is shown in the lookup tool into Maker Pass Admin.
If the lookup tool and digits on the Cal 1 Card are different, it must be fixed in the lookup tool first.
